Andes Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Andes Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hi there! I think I’ve just created my new favorite Christmas cookie and I had to share it with y’all!! When I think of Christmas I think of peppermint sticks and hot chocolate.. Well this cookie combines peppermint, hot chocolate, AND… Andes Mints!

Now I know Andes mints aren’t technically Christmas, but they go great with the peppermint extract and milk chocolate chips in this recipe.

Also, please tell me you know what an Andes mint is?! The guy at the grocery store had no clue!

This may sound crazy, but every time I bite into one I am immediately brought back to my great grandparents house. They ALWAYS had these in little dishes throughout their home. They passed away when I was so young, but every time I take a bite I am transported back to their living room.

Petey says every time he eats one he is transported to Piccadilly, eating lunch with his Pop.

Isn’t it crazy how food triggers such specific memories? If you have a memory related to Andes mints I would love for you to tell me about it in the comments below.

As always, thanks for following! Don’t forget to tag your Vintage Fork creations on Instagram.
