Hi there! If you are coming from my Instagram I am sure all you have seen recently involves the #FeelGoodFallChallenge ! I thought I would write a post to share with you what it is and how it became a thing.

As most of you know- I am Liz! Lover of all things food, travel, and attempter of being fit & healthy-ish. I have partnered with health coach Charlotte Haynie of CharlotteHaynieHealth to create a 24 day reset before the CRAZY holiday season begins.

Quick back story— Charlotte & I both went to LSU. We knew who each other were, but never really hung out in the same close knit circle. It wasn’t until 2013 when our sweet friend Jennie (my grad school roomie & her sorority sister) had her bachelorette party that we really bonded. I like to think that the wigs had something to do with it :).

Fast forward to August 2018— Charlotte reached out to me about doing some type of collaboration. We had a few FaceTime conversations trying to decide how we would collaborate. We finally decided to create a healthy, BUT REALISTIC challenge for our IG followers. It would be a reset before the crazy holidays and we would call it the FeelGoodFallChallenge.

A quick run down on the FGFC:

It’s a 24 day challenge focusing on eating better, moving more, and self-care. You should eat a “power plate” at each meal consisting of protein, veggies, and healthy fats. We added a plus one option so we could keep this realistic— think wine, cheese, dessert! We also want everyone to “move more” at least 4 days a week and practice a minimum of 2 self care activities per week!

We wanted you to receive all of this information in a “kit”- so I reached out to one of the most talented people that I know- Caitlin Gossen of Hark Creative Co. I legit showed up to her house with 4 pieces of loose leaf that included drawings and random sentences about the FGFC. She made my sketches/words come to life with the most beautiful & user friendly starter kit! If you received one, you know what I am talking about. SHE IS AMAZING!

As a fun reward for participating we thought we would do giveaways. You post and tag us on Instagram, we add you to a spread sheet, and then we pick a random winner! Every Wednesday we give away a top AND bottom from TASC performance. Every Sunday we give away a bundle of some of our favorite things! We have loved seeing all of your posts on IG- it’s my favorite part of the day.

We also decided that we wanted to meet you—Our New Orleans meet up was held at TASC on Magazine and the Lafayette meet up at O2 Face & Body. Thanks for all who showed up- It made us #FeelGood.

I want to say THANK YOU to each and everyone who signed up for the challenge! I remember posting the first video explaining what we planned to do and praying that at least 10 people would sign up. Well did y’all surprise me and in the best way possible! As of today, we have over 350 people signed up!!! We are so grateful. THANK YOU!
